Black - WJ163 This standard ink produces very black, crisp text and is recommended for normal text-only printing needs.

Substitute WJ138 if you plan to do considerable printing of black on graphical colored backgrounds, since it is more rub-resistant, but offers less crisp text on plain white backgrounds.

WJ1010 is an premium-quality, water-resistant, ultra-violet resistant, OCR-Readable, Pigmented black ink. This ink carries a premium price of $34.95 per pint. Use this ink if you require print quality which is at or above normal office needs. This is also the best ink for printing photos. It is most like the original HP ink.
