What happens then?

He only gives this gift to those who accept the Gift. He does not force it onto you. He gives it to all who acknowledge that He is the Ruler of the Universe and that His Son is Jesus Christ. This may sound like a weird condition. But you see, if you were the ruler of the Universe, you could make up your own conditions. You aren't. He is. He asks only that we accept His Son as our Ruler.
